| Comments: Warm, mild winter favored egg survival. Untreated check plot had heavy damage. Started the year with very short subsoil moisture, May and June slightly above average rainfall, then very dry again. Plots flooded for several hours on June 25. Rainfall was approximately 75% of normal from January 1 through harvest, with 5.49 and 6.2 inches coming in May and June, respectively. See attached sheet for rainfall events. Growing degree-days near average. | |
