This is the opening of a new World Wide Web Home Page for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Cooperative Extension in Pierce County.

Cooperative Extension is the nonformal educational branch of the land grant universities. Our office brings the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources into the local communities. The Nebraska Cooperative Extension in Pierce County is "cooperatively" funded by a combination of federal, state, and county funds.

Our office in Pierce, the county seat, is located in northeast Nebraska, and is a part of an Extension Programming Unit (EPU) consisting of Pierce, Madison, Stanton, and Antelope counties. We work with specialists who are located at the Northeast Research and Extension Center in Concord, Nebraska.
